Pas jij ook in geen enkele box? Claim dan je Niet Normaal-status en word vriend! Hiermee steun je onze volgende tentoonstellingen, word je steeds als eerste geïnformeerd over toekomstige events, en denk je als DIY-curator mee over nieuwe projecten. Ook heb je de mogelijkheid om als Friend with Benefits te worden overladen met cadeaus en erkenning, en de genereuze G-VIP's mogen daarbij deelnemen aan speciale privé-arrangementen.

Tijdens de Uitmarkt in 2009 peilden we ter voorbereiding op de grote NIET NORMAAL-show in de Beurs van Berlage hoe normaal Nederlanders zich voelden. Een divers onderzoeksteam met doktersjassen aan ondervroeg het voorbijlopende publiek: “Hoe normaal voelt u zich vandaag?”. Je raad het al: bijna niemand identificeerde zich als normaal. Dit smaakte naar meer.
En nu, bijna 15 jaar verder...
... heeft Niet Normaal INT maar liefst acht grote, spraakmakende tentoonstellingen gerealiseerd. Nog steeds met als belangrijkste doelstelling om impactvolle kunstenfestivals te maken over de mens, samenleving en technologie.
Opvolgers van ROBOT LOVE, FAKE ME HARD en COME ALIVE staan alweer in de steigers. Daarnaast hebben we de opgedane inzichten verzameld om onze ervaring en kennis op andere manieren te delen. Met het brede publiek, maar ook aangepast op diversiteit- en inclusievragen van bedrijven, onderwijs en overheden. Niet Normaal, Institute for Inclusive Innovation biedt een variatie aan coachingstrajecten, hackathons en impact-workshops voor CEO’s en investeerders die inspelen op de veranderende wereld, en voor cultuurmakers, fondsen en kunstenaars voor wie diversiteit en inclusie aan de basis ligt van alles wat ze doen.

Maar zonder al onze heerlijk creatieve, onvoorspelbare en niet-normale vrienden komen we niet ver. Wat wordt na COME ALIVE en de game BREAK THE WALL ons nieuwe thema? We willen dat jij als DIY-curator meedenkt zodat het volgende Niet Normaal project een nog meer gedeelde ervaring wordt van iedereen.

During the 2009 Uitmarkt in Amsterdam, in preparation for the big NIET NORMAAL show in Beurs van Berlage, we gauged how 'normal' Dutch people felt. A diverse research team in doctor's coats questioned the passing audience: "How normal do you feel today?". You guessed it: almost no one identified as normal. This tasted like more.
And now, fifteen years later...
...Niet Normaal INT has realized no less than eight large-scale, high-profile exhibitions. Still with the objective of making impactful arts festivals about people, society and technology. Successors of ROBOT LOVE, FAKE ME HARD and COME ALIVE are already in the works. In addition, we have collected the insights gained to share our experience and knowledge in other ways. With the general public, but also adapted to questions on diversity and inclusion from companies, education and governments. Niet Normaal Institute for Inclusive Innovation offers a variety of coaching programs, hackathons and impact workshops for CEO's and investors who respond to the changing world, and for culture makers, funds and artists for whom diversity and inclusion are at the core of what they do.

But without all of our wonderfully creative, unpredictable, and out-of-the-ordinary friends, we wouldn't get very far. After COME ALIVE and the game BREAK THE WALL, what will be our new theme? As a DIY-curator, we want you to be involved so that the next Niet Normaal-project becomes an even more shared experience for everyone.
